Architectural design
We all know that architecture is frozen music. But if we move away from lyrics to practice, then architecture is a beautiful, functional volume, competently inscribed in the environment. Regardless of what the architect is designing – a city-forming complex or a modest country house – he is faced with the task of developing the architecture of the object.
All information about the architecture of the object is displayed in the architectural section of the project (AR). An architectural project is the basis that provides the necessary information for the construction of a building. The architectural project contains computer 3D visualization, accurate information about all facades of the building, floor plans indicating all areas and sizes of premises, sections indicating the geometric parameters of floors and ceilings, a layout of smoke ventilation holes, characteristics of windows and doors.
The architectural section is sufficient for obtaining a building permit, commissioning and registration of a building.
Work on the architectural section of the project is called architectural design and consists of several stages:
The first stage is pre-project. At this stage, the type and style of the building is determined, taking into account the requirements and wishes of customers, an analysis of the area is carried out, the necessary measurements are taken at the planned construction site. Then, on the basis of the analysis, a technical assignment (TA) is prepared and an architectural concept is created, which is discussed with the customer.
The second stage is sketching. The draft design provides for architectural, functional, constructive, artistic and aesthetic solutions, detailed development of volumetric planning solutions, location binding.
The third stage is the execution of a 3D model, which forms the final idea of the object being created.
The fourth stage is the implementation of project documentation and the creation of a working draft. The working project consists of volumetric-spatial (master plan) and architectural and artistic solutions (3D model), drawings of facades (if necessary with color finishing), floor plans, sections with links to nodes in structures, a list of floors, a list of finishing materials, smoke ventilation channels, roof plan, characteristics of windows and doors, drawings of author’s elements.
The result of architectural design is the agreed documentation, the project on the basis of which construction work is carried out.
